Australia's Top Hack and Slash Apps Q4 2020 Performance Overview

As the year 2020 came to a close, fans of the hack and slash genre on mobile had a variety of options to choose from. Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into how the top five titles in this category performed in Australia during the fourth quarter.

Starting with Honkai Impact 3 - ส่วนที่ 2 by miHoYo Limited, the game showed a revenue trend that peaked in the week of December 21st, reaching around $23K, and downloads peaked in late September with over 1K. Weekly active users gradually decreased from approximately 5.6K to 4.4K by the end of December.

Marvel Future Fight, developed by Netmarble Corporation, had its highest revenue week at the end of November with almost $14K, while downloads saw a slight dip over the quarter, from 811 to 572. The game maintained a strong user base with weekly active users fluctuating around 15K throughout the quarter.

YOUZU GAMES HONGKONG LIMITED's Legacy of Discord-FuriousWings experienced its revenue peak in mid-October at over $10K. Downloads and active users remained relatively low, with downloads seeing a spike to 79 in the last week of December and active users increasing to 125 in the same period.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc.'s 刀劍神域一記憶重組 showed a revenue increase towards the end of December, reaching approximately $3.4K, and downloads peaked at 48 in late November. The weekly active users saw a slight uptick from 381 to 271 over the quarter.

Lastly, 極無雙（國際版） by Taihe Interactive saw its revenue fluctuate, with a notable increase to almost $3K in the week of November 23rd. Downloads surged to 227 in early November, and weekly active users showed a similar pattern with a peak of 227 in the same week.
